Walking and Cycling

Our cottages are popular with guests who enjoying walking and cycling around the area. Bring your own bikes with you, or you can hire one from Broadland Cycle Hire.

Just a short walk from the cottages is a path onto the Weaver's Way cycling and walking route which runs for 61 miles from Cromer to Great Yarmouth, taking you on various trails across farmland, coast and countryside.

Bacton Woods is very popular and has three different forest trails to follow, from 1.3-2.5 miles, but you can of course make your own way around and through the various pathways, by foot or cycle. If you fancy doing something a little different, you could have a go at orienteering within the woodland. Further details can be found via the online leaflet.

Cycling

The Broads by Bike website offers cyclists of all abilities, fourteen circular routes which can be taken to explore the Broads and the local area. One route which is close by and one of the longer rides is Route 7, taking in Stalham, Ingham, Horning and Worstead.
